SNICKER CAKE 
1 German chocolate or devil's food cake mix
8 oz. Kraft caramels (about 29 caramels)
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cake as directed. Pour half of the batter into a 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with butter and milk. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and walnuts on top of caramel. Dot remaining cake mix over top and bake 20 minutes at 250 degrees and then 10 minutes at 350 degrees. When cool, top with chocolate icing.
