FRUIT BARS 
2 c. nuts
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. candied cherries
1 c. candied pineapple

Spread nuts on greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and flour. Mix well and spread over nuts. Cover with candied pineapple and cherries, cut in pieces.

Bake for 1 hour at 275°F. Cut in bars.
