CRAB IMPERIAL
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 slices white bread, cubed with crusts removed
1 lb. crabmeat
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Pepper to taste
Paprika

In medium saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter and saute onion until soft. Mix in flour; slowly add milk, stirring constantly to keep mixture smooth and free from lumps. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, then stir in Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs. Cool; fold in mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned. Add crabmeat and toss lightly. Combine with sauce mixture carefully. Don't break up crabmeat. Sprinkle paprika over top. Bake at 450 degrees until lightly browned. Serves 4.
