SHOE FLY PIE | |
2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter Make crumbs with this. Take out 2 cups. Remaining crumbs will be mixed with: 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. molasses 3/4 tsp. baking soda Combine molasses with 1 cup water and add soda. Add slightly beaten egg and salt. Make 2 pastry shells. Divide molasses mixture into the 2 unbaked pie shells. Sprinkle 1 cup of crumbs evenly over the top of each one. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees. |
