CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. corn starch
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
10 c. water

Add all above ingredients and 2 cups water. Put 8 cups of water on the stove, let it come to a boil and stir in the ingredients. Pack jars with sliced sour apples. Pour mix over the apples and boil quarts 20 minutes, pints 15 minutes.
