S.'S COFFEE CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco

Blend these 4 ingredients. Save 1 cup for topping.

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk with 3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Mix together. Blend both mixtures together. Mix together, pour into 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup for topping evenly over cake. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. 24 servings.
