SAUERKRAUT AND SPARERIBS 
3 1/2 lbs. ribs, cut up
6 med. potatoes, peeled and quartered
6 carrots, cut into chunks
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 lg. chopped onion
2 (16 oz.) cans sauerkraut

In 9 x 13 inch baking pan, place ribs in oven at 550 degrees under broiler for 5 minutes; turn meat. Broil 5 minutes longer. Turn oven down to 350 degrees. Mix and add all other ingredients; pour over ribs and return to oven for 45-60 minutes.
