SPARE RIBS AND SAUERKRAUT 
1 lb. spareribs for each portion
Oil
Salt
Pepper
2 c. sauerkraut for each pound of spareribs
Boiling water

Brown spareribs in oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place layer in the bottom of a baking pan, add a layer of sauerkraut. Alternate layers. Add boiling water to cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours or until tender.
