SAUERKRAUT & DUMPLINGS 
3 lb. spareribs
1 qt. sauerkraut

DUMPLINGS:

2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder

Boil meat in large kettle until tender. Add sauerkraut and boil for an hour longer. Add dumplings. Mix dry ingredients. Add milk. Beat well and drop by spoonful on top of meat and kraut. Cover and steam for 20 minutes.
