HOTDOGS WITH SAUERKRAUT &
DUMPLINGS
 
In a large skillet (not cast iron) combine:

1 med. can sauerkraut
1 lb. hotdogs, sliced
1 tbsp. sugar

Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat.

Combine in 2 cup measure:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tbsp. parsley
3/4 c. milk

Mix well. Pour over hot dog and sauerkraut mix. Cover. Cook until dumplings rise and appear smooth on top. Serve with mashed potatoes.
