KIELBASA AND SAUERKRAUT WITH
POTATO DUMPLINGS
 
3 lbs. kielbasa, cut in pieces
1 jar sauerkraut with caraway seeds
1 1/2 med. onions, diced
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. sugar

Brown onion in butter, add flour. Add rinsed sauerkraut to this mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add sugar. If too thick, add about 1 cup water. Put in kielbasa. Stir. Cook on low to heat. Stir often so it doesn't burn. Mix in dumplings and serve.
