3 c. flour
3 c. water
1 1/2 c. salt
6 tbsp. oil
6 tsp. cream of tartar
Food coloring

Mix above ingredients and stir over medium heat until clay leaves the side of pan. Stir continuously, making sure there are no lumps. Let cool. Store in covered container or zip-lock bag for reuse. This is safe (non-toxic).
