3 c. peanuts
2/3 c. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Cook over low heat for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Add vanilla and butter. Hand beat until creamy. Add red food coloring. Pour onto greased cookie sheet in patties. Cool.
