2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Dash salt
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 drops red food coloring

Combine sugar, water, salt and corn syrup in a 2 quart measuring cup. Bring to a boil in microwave oven, 3 minutes. Stir and add peanuts and cook 7 to 9 minutes in microwave or soft ball stage. Remove from oven. Add butter, vanilla and red food coloring. Beat until creamy. Drop by tablespoon onto greased foil or cookie sheet.
