CHOPPED BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 lg. onion
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 pkg. elbow macaroni or 1 heaping c. dry macaroni
1/4 - 1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
1 can tomato soup
1 can mushrooms
1/4 can catsup
1 sm. can tomato paste (opt., for a richer taste)

Brown hamburger and onion. Salt and pepper to taste. Boil macaroni, mix with meat. Add remaining ingredients. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and place in casserole. Top with bread or cracker crumbs. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove cover. Bake 15 minutes more to brown crumbs.
