1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 egg

Cream sugar and butter together; add baking powder and flour. In a 1 cup measure, put the 1 egg; beat it, then finish filling cup with milk. Add to flour mixture; mix real well.

Put in a greased and floured 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
