FAST FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. canned, sliced peaches, drained
1 stick butter, melted
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder in a 2 quart Pyrex baking dish. Stir in milk and vanilla to make a thin batter. Place fruit slices over the batter and drizzle the melted butter over the top. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes according to the depth of the dish or until nicely browned. Try cherries, berries or fruit in season. Serve warm with cream.
