ELEPHANT STEW | |
1 med. size elephant 1 ton pepper 300 bu. carrots 2 sm. rabbits 1 ton salt 300 bu. potatoes 400 sprigs parsley Cut elephant into bite size pieces, this will take about 2 months. Cube vegetables, another 2 months. Put meat in pan; cover with 1000 gallons brown gravy and simmer about 4 weeks, shoveling in salt and pepper to taste. When meat is tender, add vegetables; a steam shovel may be used. Simmer slowly for several weeks, stirring frequently with a bulldozer. Garnish with parsley. Serves 3, 000 people. If 3, 008 show up, you may have to add the rabbits. This is not recommended as most people do not like to find a hare in their stew. |
