SPINACH AND HAM CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. shortening 1/4 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. milk 2 (14 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach 2 c. diced cooked ham 3 tbsp. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. melted butter Melt shortening in saucepan. Remove from heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cook spinach and drain. Arrange half of spinach in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with ham and the remaining spinach. Pour the white sauce over all. Top with bread crumbs and melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 6-8 servings. |
