TUTTI FRUTTI JAM 
3 c. chopped pears (about 2 lbs.)
1 lg. orange
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 c. Maraschino cherries, chopped
1 pkg. powdered pectin
5 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice

Wash, pare and core pears, then chop. Peel orange and remove pith then chop. In large heavy pan combine pears, orange, pineapple, lemon juice and cherries. Stir in pectin. Over high heat, quickly bring mixture to a full boil, stirring constantly. Bubbles will cover the entire surface. Add sugar and heat to a full boil while stirring. Boil hard for a full minute continuing to stir. Remove from heat. Ladle jam into hot sterilized containers and seal immediately.
