DOUBLE FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
4 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water; bring just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add chocolate morsels and vanilla; stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees. Time: 50 minutes, cool; cut into 2 inch squares. Makes 2 dozen.
