GLAZED WALNUTS OR PECANS 
1 lb. walnuts or pecans
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Put nuts in 9 x 13 inch cake pan and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. While nuts are baking, beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually and beat well again. After nuts are baked fold them into egg whites and mix well. Melt butter in another cookie sheet or large cake pan. Pour nuts into butter and mix well until all is coated. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 more minutes. stir occasionally. Allow to cool in pan, then put in jars or cans for storage.
