STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD 
1 lb. asparagus spears
1/2 c. bottle poppy seed dressing
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tbsp. orange juice
8 c. torn fresh spinach
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries and blueberries
1 lb. smoked, cooked turkey, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1/4 c. pecan halves

Cut asparagus into 1 inch pieces. lace in 1 quart microwave dish with 2 tablespoons water. Cover, micro-cook on high for 5-7 minutes until crisp tender, stirring once. Drain and rinse with cold water. In a salad bowl, combine cold asparagus, spinach, berries, and turkey.

DRESSING: Stir together poppy seed dressing, orange peel, and orange juice. Toss dressing with salad and top with pecans. Makes 4 main dish servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
