GUMDROP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cut-up gumdrops
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking flour
1 c. quick oats (uncooked)

Cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats, gumdrops and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 12-14 minutes at 350°F.

Yields: 5-6 dozen.
