This recipe is so easy and delicious! Works great with the sourdough broken pieces! I added a little sprinkle of garlic powder and dill after baking for added flavor!! Makes a great snack.

I've been making this recipe for years to rave reviews. Packaged in Christmas-print treat bags, these make great teacher gifts or gifts for other folks you'd like to remember with a "little something."

A couple variations I use with great results: 3/4 C. oil to lighten up on the calories. There's also a "California style" of lemon-pepper seasoning that has more garlic than the regular. It adds a nice kick. Also easier than breaking up big sourdough pretzels, get two bags (16 oz.) of Nibblers. If you stir well, there's more than enough dressing to coat two full bags.

I put the pretzels on two large cookie sheets w/none touching (or they'll get soggy) and bake for 10 min. at 300°F. If you need to use two racks, rotate them halfway through.

These are great for Super Bowl parties, too!

Have been making these off and on now for about a year. They're a hit every single time. Great to make and have around as a snack. Getting ready to make a batch now to take camping. Thanks for the great recipe!

I follow this recipe but use a buffalo wing pack instead of ranch. Some garlic salt and crushed habanero pepper to add some zip and its a twist on the same awesome snack.

I add Cayenne to the recipe for a little heat...especially good with a ice cold beer.
