CHOCOLATE - FILLED OATMEAL BARS 
1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate (or 2 envs. Choco Bake)
2 c. raisins
1 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats

Combine milk and chocolate; heat over boiling water until smooth, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in raisins. Set aside to cool slightly. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Mix dry ingredients, then mix with sugar mixture until crumbly. Press half of dough evenly into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cover with chocolate mixture. Sprinkle with remaining half of dough; press down slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Set pan on rack to cool. Cut, while slightly warm, into bars. Makes about 4 dozen.
