GRAPE NUT BREAD | |
1 c. Grape Nuts 2 c. buttermilk 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 3 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder Soak Grape Nuts in buttermilk for 10 minutes. Cream sugar and eggs. Add milk and Grape Nuts mixture. Sift dry ingredients and add to above mixture. Pour into 2 loaf pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean when stuck into center of loaf. |
