3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. hot water
1 c. nuts
2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
4 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together and drop by teaspoonfuls. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degree oven.
