FRESH APPLE POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. salad oil
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. diced fresh apples
1/2 c. black walnuts
1/2 c. pecans
3/4 c. coconut

Mix dry ingredients, salad oil and eggs; add chopped nuts, apples and coconut. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. milk

Cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over cake when it is taken out of the oven. Cool, then remove cake from the pan.
