SWEET & SOUR PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. chili sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Trim excess fat from pork chops. Combine flour, salt, pepper and ginger. Coat chops with seasoned flour and brown well in oil in large skillet. Move chops to side of pan, add onion and garlic; saute until onion is tender, but not browned.

Combine water, chili sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and soy sauce. Pour over chops. Cover and simmer gently about 45 minutes until tender.
