CRACKER PUDDING | |
1 qt. milk (4 c.) 2 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. cracker crumbs (saltines) 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. coconut Beat eggs well and add to milk in saucepan. Scald. Stir in sugar and cracker crumbs and cook over medium heat until thickened; stirring constantly. Add vanilla and coconut. You may decrease sugar to 1/2 cup and use graham crackers instead of saltines, sprinkling some on top. Egg whites may be separated and beaten; then added when pie mixture is thickened. |
