CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. almond extract
8 oz. can whole cranberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts

ICING:

3/4 c. confectioner's sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tbsp. hot water

Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beat well. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and add to sugar mixture alternately with sour cream. Add almond flavoring. In a greased tube pan put half of dough and half of eight ounce can whole berries and 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Put the rest of dough, sauce and nuts in pan. Cut with knife as you would for a marble cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool on rack for 15 minutes. Mix icing ingredients together and drizzle over cake.
