CRANBERRY NUT COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 c. chopped walnuts

Grease and flour a tube or bundt pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs one at a time. Mix baking powder, baking soda, flour and salt and add to egg mixture, alternating with sour cream. Add flavoring and 1/2 cup walnuts.

Put a layer of batter in bottom of pan. Add 1/2 can of cranberry sauce - spread evenly. Add remaining batter and remaining cranberry sauce. Spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
