CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
6 tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add sour cream alternately with flour, salt, soda and baking powder mixed together. Add almond flavoring. Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Spoon 16 ounce whole cranberry sauce over batter. Pour remaining batter over sauce. Swirl with knife. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped nuts over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Glaze while warm.

GLAZE:

1 c. 10X sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 tbsp. warm water

Spread over cake while warm.
