GARLIC BREAD 
1 (1 lb.) loaf French or Italian bread
8 tbsp. (1 stick) butter, softened
1 or 2 garlic cloves, crushed
Paprika

Prepare a medium 1 pound loaf using a long serrated knife cut bread into 1-inch slices without slicing completely through bottom crust.

Combine butter and garlic, mix well until blended. Spread garlic butter over both sides of bread slices. Sprinkle lightly with paprika and wrap securely in foil. Toast on edge of grill turning occasionally until heated through, about 10 to 15 minutes. Preparation time: 10 minutes. Cook: 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
