RHABARBER TRAUM PIE | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 5 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. finely chopped rhubarb 1 tsp. grated orange peel 1/4 tsp. vanilla Blend 1 cup flour, butter and powdered sugar together with pastry blender. Mixture will be dry. Press into an ungreased 9x9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Mix together 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour and salt. Stir in eggs, rhubarb, orange peel and vanilla. Pour into crust and continue to bake for 35-45 minutes or until brown. Top will still be moist. This is excellent served warm with cream or whipped cream. |
