FRUIT PLATZ 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. light cream, or milk
1 egg
Sliced fruit, cherries, plums, apples, apricots, etc.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter
Cream, or milk, enough to make coarse crumbs

Mix first 6 ingredients together and pat out into 9 x 13 pan, pushing up sides. Top with lots of sliced fruit. Plums are my family's favorite.

Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle thickly over fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
