COCONUT ANGEL TORTE 
1 1/2 c. graham crackers, crushed
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, melted

Mix and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Set aside. Beat 5 egg whites until foamy. Add 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add slowly 1 cup sugar. Beat until stiff and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on crumb mixture. Bake 1 hour in 250 degree oven. Cool and top with whipped cream and sprinkle coconut on top.
