GLAZED WALNUTS 
1 1/2 c. walnuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. water

Bring 1/4 cup of water to a boil. Add all other ingredients except walnuts for five minutes, stir in walnuts for about another five minutes. Let cool on wax paper.
