RUSSIAN CHILLER - THE LANDSMANS | |
1 (2 1/2 lb.) fryer, cut up 2 med. onions, chopped 5 or 6 carrots, sliced 1 green pepper, chopped 1 heaping tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt or to taste Fry onions in butter. Add carrots, pepper, paprika and salt until all is simmering. Add chicken, stir up until everything is simmering. Cover very tightly so no moisture escapes. Cook on stove top or oven for one hour or low crock pot all day. |
