TURTLE CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
1 can condensed milk
1/2 c. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix cake mix according to directions on the box. Bake 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13 inch pan (greased and floured) at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels, milk, and butter together, cool slightly. Spread caramel mixture over cooled cake. Top with remaining cake batter. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and pecans. Bake for 25 minutes longer.
