STUFFED FRENCH TOAST | |
1/3 c. cottage cheese 1 tbsp. raisins 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. brown sugar 2 slices oatmeal or whole wheat bread 1 egg 1 tbsp. water 1 tsp. reduced calorie butter 2 tsp. reduced calorie strawberry spread Fresh strawberries, sliced (optional) Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl; spread on 1 slice of bread and top with remaining bread to form a sandwich. In small bowl beat egg with water; transfer to small shallow pan and soak sandwich, turning occasionally for 10 minutes or until all egg is absorbed. Melt butter in small skillet; add sandwich. Cook until bottom is golden brown; turn and brown other side. Top with strawberry spread and strawberries. 1 serving. |
