RAISIN ORANGE NUT BREAD 
1 c. raisins
1 c. boiling water
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/4 c. sweet cream butter, melted

Heat oven at 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine raisins and water, let stand 10 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes 1 loaf.
