CHOW CHOW 
1/2 gal. chopped cabbage
6 lg. onions, chopped
6 green peppers
6 red peppers
3 hot peppers
12 green tomatoes
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. turmeric
2 tbsp. pickling spices
6 c. vinegar
5 c. sugar

Chop all vegetables and salt to taste. Boil sugar, vinegar and spices (tied in a bag) 5 minutes. Pour over vegetables and cook 20 minutes or until done. Can in hot jars and seal.
