CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
3 oz. butter
6 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla

In heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over very low heat. Add water, sugar and corn syrup. Stir to blend. Gently boil the mixture without stirring for 8 to 10 minutes, until very thick and smooth. Remove sauce from the heat and stir in vanilla. Pour into hot, sterilized jars. Keeps, covered and refrigerated for several months.
