SOUR CREAM ORANGE CAKE 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. orange juice

Oven at 350-375 degrees for 45 minutes. Use greased tube pan 9 inch. Cream butter. Add sugar and blend. Beat in eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Stir flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Add orange rind, raisins and nuts.

Turn into greased tube pan. Bake in moderate oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven. Heat the confectioners' sugar and orange juice until blended. Pour over cake while still hot. Let cool before taking from pan. Cool before cutting.
