ORANGE SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 c. seedless raisins (optional)
Rind of 1 orange
Juice of orange

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs. Sift flour, salt, soda and add to egg mixture. Add sour cream, raisins, if desired, and rind of orange. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.

After cake is baked, take out of oven, leave in pan. Pour juice from orange plus 1/2 cup sugar over top of cake. Let cool in pan.
