Bring to boil:

2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. Half and Half
2 c. milk

Mix 1/2 cup cornstarch and 1/2 cup milk and add to first mixture. Cook until thick. Pour into lightly browned pie shell. Bake 10-15 minutes in 325 degree oven. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
