OLD FAMILY CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. uncooked med. noodles
1 c. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 to 1/2 c. grated or shredded Parmesan cheese

Brown beef and onion until meat is light brown and onion is tender. Blend the tomato sauce and seasonings and add to the meat mixture. Simmer 10-15 minutes.

Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Mix together sour cream and cream cheese.

In a lightly greased 3-quart casserole or 9x9 inch baking dish, spread half of the noodles. Cover with half of the meat and tomato sauce. Over this, spread the entire cream cheese mixture. Then layer the remaining noodles and then the last half of the meat sauce. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
