DAD'S FAMOUS FRENCH TOAST | |
1 large egg per slice of bread (potato bread is best) equal amount of milk per egg volume 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla cinnamon/sugar mixture 50/50 butter Beat milk and eggs with cinnamon and vanilla. Heat butter in flat skillet. Soak bread in mixture till well saturated. Cook on low heat until golden brown. Flip and spread one pat of butter on top of each slice and continue cooking until golden brown. When finished top with cinnamon sugar mixture, cut, and enjoy.
